功效:入肺、胃、脾经。全草:清熱解毒,利濕止癢,明目退翳。全草治跌打閃挫,久年傷痛,肝炎,感冒,喉炎,敷腫毒,癰疽,痢疾,腸炎,消化不良,扁桃腺炎,咽喉炎,角膜雲翳,白喉,百日咳,子宮頸炎,霉菌性陰道炎,皮膚炎,濕疹,白帶,乳腺炎,癤腫,小兒膿疱瘡, 此外,火炭母可生食、煲汤、榨汁或药浴,有者将其干品当作抗癌草药,鲜品则当作急救良药,例如风热感冒、喉咙发炎、眼睛赤痛、扁桃腺发炎。 若喉咙干燥,生食两三片叶子,即可生津化痰;喉咙疼痛发炎,可用鲜品榨汁,加上蜜糖调味,饮用后马上见效;妇女患上湿热白带,煲水饮用即可痊愈;若加入蜜枣煲汤,帮助开胃消化;火炭母放入沸水,浸足15分钟,可当作药浴治疗烂脚;若煲水加入黄糖饮用,就像凉茶般防暑除燥。 火炭母如其名,它是女性的救命草药,可治疗痢疾、风湿、肠炎、乳腺炎、喉咙发炎、阴道痕痒等顽疾,
火炭母也可炒菜食用,其叶片炒蛋则能止痢祛风,不过火炭母属寒性,因此建议用姜丝或小辣椒拌炒,既可杀菌又可祛风。若以水煎服饮用,则勿煲煮太久,一般两个小时即可服用,以免营养流失。 治疗白喉:将火炭母鲜叶捣烂,取汁30毫升,加蜂蜜适量,每天分6次服,病重者少量多次灌服。临床观察63例,全部治愈。疗程一般2~4天。 治疗霉菌性阴道炎:用火炭母1两,煎水坐浴;火炭母粉于冲洗后局部喷撒。两者交替使用,3~5次为一疗程。治疗17例,均有效。其中9例作阴道分泌物涂片复查霉菌,均转阴性。
治疗小儿脓疱疮:取火炭母全草3~5两切碎,加适量水煮沸15~20分钟,过滤,滤液浸洗局部,每日数次。有全身感染症状者另服中药。治疗25例,均获治愈。 《本草图经》:去皮肤风热,流注,骨节痈肿疼痛。 《生草药性备要》:炒蜜食能止痢症。敷疮、敷跌打、贴烂脚,拔毒、干水、敛口。 《岭南采药录》:治小儿身热惊搐,臌胀。 《福建民间草药》:活血解毒,止痢,疗带。
